I have always had exemplary treatment from Dr Gandhi in the 17 years he has been looking after my teeth. He is a highly skilled dentist with a reassuring manner. He explains what he is doing and, should you need it, gives the best injection of any dentist I know. The Chiswick Park Dental Practice is quite simply a centre of excellence.
I first saw Dr Mistry in 1987 following many years of neglect my teeth required much treatment. Until Dr Mistry I had always dreaded a trip to the dentist, but since attending her surgery I have enjoyed the visit. The standard of dentistry has been exemplary along with the service and courtesy extended to me.
As long as Dr Mistry is in practice I will be her patient.
I first came to see Dr Mistry on the recommendation of a good friend. I had two problems; a deep-rooted fear of the dentist's chair and a cavity in a wisdom tooth that my previous dentist had filled three times in as many weeks, but it kept falling out. My tooth was sorted out with a single visit; a substantially less painful visit than my previous ones. My fear of dental visits took longer to solve, but I challenge anyone to visit Dr Mistry regularly and retain their fear. She is the most gentle and understanding dentist I have ever been to. I have since brought the whole family to the Chiswick Park Dental Practice and my young daughters are both quite happy and relaxed there. My five year-old even had to have a small filling and still left feeling that the dentist is an OK place to be. So, if you want minimal discomfort with maximum dental care, I whole-heartedly recommend Chiswick Park Dental Practice.
When I moved to Chiswick, some 10 years ago, I asked my new neighbour to recommend a dentist to me and she sent me to Dr Mistry. That turned out to be a brilliant recommendation, and one which I have passed on to many friends. The surgery is friendly and welcoming and reassuringly up to date! The staff are, without exception, professional and confidence-inspiring and I have even managed to persuade my dentist-phobic husband to become a regular patient.
Dear Dr Mistry,
Just a quick note to let you know how good I found your new hygienist, Sandar, when I came in to see her for my recent appointment. As a client who has never relished these sessions in the past, I found her to be very relaxed and friendly. She also took great care to explain exactly what she was doing and when, and was careful to avoid causing any discomfort.
I'd go as far as to say that I'm looking forward to seeing her again in 3 months!
We have been with Dr Mistry at Chiswick Park Dental Practice for many years, having followed her from her previous practice and I have no hesitation in recommending her to anybody who is looking for a dentist in the Chiswick area. The premises are clean, attractive and efficiently run, she has a helpful and cheerful team working with her, you can usually park easily and, most importantly, the dental care is excellent.
I have a very stiff back and find dentist chairs for dental work uncomfortable, but she patiently puts up with my curious arrangements with angles and cushions, and does her best to accommodate my unbending spine at probable inconvenience and discomfort to herself. A few years ago I had an accident and damaged my front teeth and split my lip. After stitches at A&E I was immediately seen by Dr Mistry who very gently patched me up and the ensuing weeks of treatment were never remotely unpleasant.
My daughter has learning difficulties and for many years her teeth were looked after by Great Ormond St hospital as she had major heart surgery and is at risk of endocarditic. As an adult she now sees Dr Mistry who carefully explains procedures to her in a clear and simple manner and makes her feel completely at ease. I can readily imagine that Dr Mistry would be particularly successful with nervous patients.
We also regularly see one of her dental hygienists who efficiently and cheerily sees to our teeth without endless nagging about our lack of proficiency with floss or electric toothbrush. Visit to dental hygienists in the more distant past were not always so pleasant and once or twice I vowed never to see one again!
